Lucha Gauntlet!
Wrestle Dynasty’s official main card kicked off with a 8 person Lucha Gauntlet with four competitors from NJPW and four competitors from CMLL. In the gauntlet, we saw Hechicero, Kosei Fujita, Soberano Jr, Máster Wato, Mascara Dorada, Taiji Ishimori, Titán and El Desparado, in that order.
El Desparado is the new IWGP Jr Heavyweight Champion after winning at last nights Wrestle Kingdom 19. Every competitor in this match targeted the champion almost immediately, as a win over him could grant them a future title shot. Of course, the match started to break down, bodies were flying everywhere in unique ways, and the crowd was on their feet.
In the end, it was Taiji Ishimori who pinned El Desparado to get the victory after a roll-up pin!
