CM Punk’s Dedication
WWE’s RAW Netflix Debut was headlined by CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins, and CM Punk was victorious in that main event. Following the show, WWE had a RAW Post-Show on their social channels where Jackie Redmond interviewed CM Punk immedietly following his match. During the interview, CM Punk said “Netflix, biggest thing I’ve ever done in my life, this match is for Chad Gilbert, this match is for Chris Bey and this match is for me!”
Chad Gilbert is a rock musician who was diagnosed with Cancer, while Chris Bey is a wrestler on the TNA roster who recently was hurt in a match and did not move, having to be stretchered out over the summer. Chris is still out on the shelf and we wish him and Chad the best in their recoveries.
CM Punk also noted during the interview that in 2025, he’s coming for all the gold, putting Cody Rhodes and Gunther on notice and saying Elimination Chamber and Royal Rumble are in his sights.
