Becky Lynch Update: New Contract Signed, RAW on Netflix Debut, And WrestleMania Plans

WWE’s Monday Night RAW debut on Netflix came and went without an appearance from The Man Becky Lynch.

Last night on Bodyslam’s RAW Dawgs, our WWE Monday Night RAW Post Show, Cory Hays reported that Becky Lynch was in town and had been factored into plans for the Women’s Championship Match between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley, but instead an appearance from The Undertaker occurred.

In an update, Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp has reported that Becky Lynch was actually NOT in Los Angeles yesterday or planned for WWE’s Monday Night RAW debut on Netflix, and that her appearance was not cut from the show. Additionally, Becky Lynch is said to have signed a new deal with WWE, after her previous contract had expired last year.

Becky Lynch’s WrestleMania 41 plans were also noted, as it was reported that as of the end of 2024 WWE had yet to solidify plans for her return or WrestleMania plans. But it was stated that those Sapp had spoken to, did expect for Lynch to be factored into plans for WrestleMania 41.

“Becky Lynch’s highly anticipated return didn’t take place on Raw, to the surprise of fans and talent. Fightful Select had reported that talent did expect to see her on the show. However, not only was she not on the show, she wasn’t in Los Angeles at all. She was not planned for the Raw-Netflix debut, and her appearance wasn’t cut, as was speculated.”

“However, that doesn’t indicate her future with WWE. It was confirmed that after her deal had lapsed in 2024, Becky Lynch has since agreed to a contract with WWE. She appeared at some Netflix related events, but had told people she was just there supporting. However, she’s always planned to make a return, and both WWE and Lynch expected to do business together again.”

“Lynch was not at Raw on Netflix, and we’re told that as of the end of 2024 that neither her WrestleMania plans or return plans had been solidified. Those we spoke to did expect her to be factored in.”
