Santino Marella On Smoking Weed With Snoop Dogg At WrestleMania 24: “It’s Snoop Dogg, Right? You’re Not Gonna Say No”

Say No to Drugs, unless they’re from Snoop Dogg.

“It’s Snoop Dogg, right? You’re not gonna say no.”

Former WWE Superstar Santino Marella has had multiple “WrestleMania Moments” throughout his career, but one of the more memorable ones has to be his spot with Snoop Dogg at WrestleMania 24. Santino accompanied Melina and Beth Phoenix against the team of Maria Kanellis and Ashley Massaro for the Playboy BunnyMania Lumberjill match, however he was on the receiving end of a clothesline from Snoop Dogg post match.

You may be shocked to learn, but Snoop and Santino were high during their WrestleMania XXIV segment.

Santino Marella was recently a guest on the “No Name Wrestling Podcast,” where his WrestleMania 24 appearance and spot with Snoop Dogg was discussed. Santino recalls being told my WWE officials to go to Snoop’s bus and “talk about what you’re gonna be doing later.” He adds that as soon as he walked onto the bus, that he was greeted with a blunt and that “it’s Snoop Dogg, right? You’re not gonna say no.“

Santino revealed that he didn’t know what kind of weed that Snoop Dogg had that night, but that he was in the best mood ever.

“They go, ‘Yeah, can you please go to Snoop Dogg’s bus and, you know, talk about what you’re gonna be doing later? And as I walk onto the bus, of course, I’m greeted with a blunt. And I’m like, okay, you know it’s Snoop Dogg, right? You’re not gonna say no. So anyway, I smoked with him. I don’t know what kind of weed he has but I was in the best mood ever. It was really euphoric, uplifting weed.”

Santino went on to talk more about working with Snoop Dogg, putting over his professionalism and that he was impressed by his work ethic, saying that “he is a true pro.”

“Working with Snoop, he is a true pro. We did something [and I’m] like, ‘Oh that’s good,’ he’s like, ‘Are you sure? We can do it again.’ Like, he wanted to make sure that they were completely happy and he was willing to do it over and over again until it was perfect. I was really impressed with his work ethic, and he clotheslined the hell out of me.”

Santino Marella is currently working for TNA. He recently appeared on-screen with his daughter, WWE NXT and TNA liaison Arianna Grace at TNA’s Victory Road 2024 PPV.
