Number One Contender
Tiffany Stratton had her championship celebration tonight after winning the championship last week by cashing in the money in the bank. But she didn’t get too far into our speech as Nia Jax quickly interrupted her, looking to get her title back. Then Bayley interrupted as well, also looking for a championship match. Of course, then here comes Naomi and Bianca Belair.
A brawl broke out with Tiffany Stratton standing tall, then general manager Nick Aldis came out and said that the other four girls will compete in a fatal four-way match to determine Tiffany’s new number one contender and the match starts now. Nia dominated early, but eventually all the other girls started the team up to take her down. Bayley and Bianca went at it for a little bit with Nia shutting that down.
Naomi had her time in the sun and had Nia Jax reeling, even hitting her signature split-legged moonsault, but it wasn’t enough. They all had Nia down and out, but couldn’t get the pin. Candice LeRae made her way out to help Nia, while Bianca and Naomi teamed up against Bayley. Then the moment we all waited for the standoff between Bianca, Belair and Naomi, that was quickly broken up, though by Nia and Bayley.
In the end, it was Bianca who accidentally whipped Naomi with her hair and allowed Bayley to get the win with the RosePlant. Bayley vs. Tiffany is next week.
