Lyra Valkyria Becomes Inaugural Women’s Intercontinental Champion

And New, And First!

Women’s Intercontinental Title Finals

For a few week, WWE RAW has been running a tournament to crown the first ever women’s intercontinental champion. Dakota Kai and Kyra Valkyria made it to the finals and now, that match took place on WWE RAW’s second Netflix episode.

The match kicked off fast with some back and forth action, but suddenly came to a screeching halt when Lyra suplexed Dakota off the apron to the floor in brutal fashion. From there, Lyra had control and took advantage of the situation.

Dakota eventually started to battle back and hit some signature moves, but Lyra stayed alive and had some big offense of her own, including a flying leg-drop off the top rope that got a near fall.

In the end, it was Lyra Valkyria who hit her signature “NightWing” to become the first ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
