Blake Howard Calls WWE Speed In Corey Graves Absence
WWE Speed has a new commentator.
Blake Howard On The Call
WWE Speed is a weekly show on WWE’s X account that has one match, typically with a three minute time-limit, or five minutes for championship matches. Since day one of the show, Corey Graves had been calling all the action. But, that may be no more.
This week, news broke that Corey Graves was unhappy being bumped down to WWE NXT after previously being a commentator for RAW and SmackDown. With Pat McAfee returning to RAW with Michael Cole, Joe Tessitore moved to SmackDown with Wade Barrett. This bumped Corey down to NXT to call the action with Booker T and Vic Joseph in a three man booth.
Per PWInsider, Corey was unhappy with this and simply left, and went back home, and did not call WWE NXT last night. Well, what about WWE Speed? Today, WWE Speed featured a new voice, and that’s Blake Howard. Blake has been a WWE commentator for a while now, but he’s only called WWE LVL UP and Main Event. With LVL Up being cancelled, it looks like Main Event and Speed are now Blake’s homes.
It’s unclear if Corey Graves will return to Speed if he remains with the company, but for now, get used to the voice of Blake Howard.
