Confirmation On Ruby Soho’s Injury Status
Everyone can relax, Ruby Soho is not legitimately injured.
Injury storylines in pro wrestling end up under the microscope quite often. When a heel needs heat, a fast way to get it is by “injuring” a top babyface. We saw this instance last week when Tay Conti and the JAS slammed a door on Ruby Soho’s hand. On this week’s Dynamite, Soho appeared sporting a cast on her hand which has led to many fans believing the injury may be legitimate.
On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed that Ruby Soho isn’t legitimately injured.
“So, she’s not hurt, because she was doing indies over the weekend. She had a cast, of course, because they did the gimmick. But, the point is, last week we’re going, ‘Is this a cover for an injury?’ and it’s just an angle. There’s no real injury.”

Positive news regarding possible injuries to stars in AEW has been a rarity in the last few months, so it is good to see that Soho is simply selling the worked injury.
