Jim Ross believes the AEW schedule is family friendly for AEW talent.
For the most part, pro wrestling is a family friendly industry. We have seen many a talents over the years slow down their schedule in pro wrestling when they begin to have families. While WWE stars have found ways to manage the schedule while keeping families whole, with Montez Ford and Bianca Belair being a primary example of managing it.
While speaking on “Grilling JR”, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross stated that he believes AEW’s family friendly schedule has helped them recruit more talent.
AEW, we don’t even do the house shows,” Ross said. “Our guys work a travel day and a production day, so they’ve got one of the best schedules in the history of pro wrestling, and are making good money in AEW, and their longevity is going to increase, I think we’ll see. I think what’s always going to be great for us, as far as recruiting talent, is the fact that we’ve got a schedule that’s family-friendly for the talent. [It’s the] first time ever.”

Of course, with the talent they have signed we have seen several couples being signed to AEW even more in the last year or so. Time will tell if family friendly schedule will continue to bring in talent.
