Paddy Pimblett did it again and is now 2-0 at the O2 arena in London, England.
Prior to the bout, Jordan Leavitt promised to twerk following a finish over Pimblett. This would spark the idea for Pimblett to think of “teabagging” his opponent if he were successful with a finish, and he was.
Following the huge 2nd round submission win. Pimblett gave a heartfelt message, on Friday a few hours to weigh-ins, he found out his friend had committed suicide and dedicated this win to them.
Pimblett also urged men to speak up about their mental health, that they shouldn’t shy away from sharing their pain and seeking help.
Before exiting the octagon, Pimblett did say he wants to fight before the end of the year. It looks like the next destination for them would be in New York at Madison Square Garden on a date in November that has yet to be dated.
