Big E Doesn’t Blame Ridge Holland For His Neck Injury

Big E holds no ill will towards Ridge Holland.

Earlier this year, Big E suffered a broken neck on a March edition of SmackDown. Ridge Holland would execute a belly to belly suplex on the outside to Big E, who would end up spiking his head into the ground. This spot lead to the discovery that Big E had suffered a broken neck as a result of the mistake.

While speaking on The MMA Hour, Big E made it clear that he holds no animosity towards Ridge Holland, as injuries do happen.

“We’re good, man. Things happen. It’s a part of what we sign up for. It’s not something I ever would have wanted, but it happened. Me hating him or holding a grudge doesn’t help me at all. He’s been very apologetic, so we’re good man. I hold no ill will against him at all.”

Big E is not expected to return anytime soon as he continues to rehab his broken neck. However, some good news is that Big E will not have to undergo surgery to fix the damage to his neck. Time will tell when E will make his return to WWE TV.
