Paul Heyman Speaks Out On People Celebrating Vince McMahon’s Downfall
Paul Heyman doesn’t think Vince McMahon gets the credit he deserves.
Speaking on the MackMania podcast, Heyman was asked for his thoughts on McMahon, specifically those who have celebrated that McMahon was no longer in power creatively as he was out of touch.
“I think there is a locker room and an office filled with fabulously wealthy people thanks to the 22 hour work day of Vince McMahon for the past 40 years. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Vince McMahon. What a hypocrite I would be to say anything less than extraordinarily complimentary (things) about that man. His work ethic, his willingness to put in 20, 22 hours a day, every day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, for 40 years is why we are all fabulously wealthy. He’ll never get the credit or understanding that he truly deserves and he earned,”
Paul Heyman on MackMania
While Heyman may be factually correct with his sentiment of people in the company being rich due to Vince’s work ethic, it is not an excuse for the sexual misconduct allegations that lead to McMahon’s retirement from WWE. Heyman is currently serving as the manager to The Bloodline and Roman Reigns.
