Camera Shaking And Rapid Camera Cuts Expected To Remain A Part Of WWE Programming After Kevin Dunn Leaves

It is expected that a part of WWE’s direction that many fans believe is attributed to Kevin Dunn may remain even if he leaves the company.

The rapid camera cuts became a thing when The Shield debuted at Survivor Series 2012. It was used to present a chaotic feel to their attacks and has stuck with the promotion since. Many attribute this decision to Kevin Dunn, who is the defacto director of WWE programming.

Bryan Alvarez spoke on Wrestling Observer Radio about the camera cuts and mentioned that things would remain the same even if Dunn leaves WWE.

“I know everyone flat out says it’s Kevin Dunn and I’m sure that he’s part of this. But I was told there are other people there that like the shaking and the zooming and the cuts and that you shouldn’t expect that if Kevin Dunn left tomorrow that we suddenly wouldn’t have that anymore. People there like it, I have no idea why. It’s absolutely horrible. It’s vomit-inducing. You can’t even see what’s going on,”

Time will tell if WWE will truly keep this part of their current programming as many fans dislike the rapid cuts, resulting in missing of actions at times.
