Major Spoiler On Planned Change To WWE Women’s Tag Title Tournament On Tonight’s SmackDown, NXT Tag Team Set For Callup

It looks like Triple H has changed his mind on who will represent NXT 2.0 on tonight’s edition of SmackDown.

According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, the plan is for Toxic Attraction to replace Nikkita Lyons & Zoey Stark in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title tournament. The former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions came up short in a fatal four way tag match for the NXT Women’s tag titles last week.

Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne) are reportedly in Montreal, the site of Friday’s WWE SmackDown. Dolin & Jayne are former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. Mandy Rose is the reigning NXT Women’s Champion. Lyons & Stark were scheduled to face Natalya & Sonya Deville in the first round of the tournament.
