Jim Cornette Criticises Chris Jericho And Tony Khan For Not Changing Judas With Heel Turn
One of the most prominently sang theme songs in pro wrestling is Chris Jericho’s theme that is sung at every entrance that Jericho makes in AEW.
Jericho has been more than open about AEW and his consideration of changing his theme to prevent singalongs, but decided against it. While speaking on the Official Jim Cornette YouTube channel, Jim Cornette blasted Chris Jericho for not trying hard enough to change Judas.
“My response is Chris didn’t try hard then. Because you can’t tell me that Tony Khan who listens to creative suggestions from everybody and does most of them apparently, if Chris Jericho tells Tony Khan ‘no it’s my song, they like to sing along, I want to take it away from them to be a heel’. Tony would say ‘no god d**n you Chris Jericho, if you don’t play the song that people cheer for, even though you’re a heel, just because you’re trying to make my business better, I’m gonna suspend you or fire you.’

Time will tell if Khan and Jericho decide to change Judas, but for now it remains a prominent part of weekly AEW programming. Jericho is set to face Bryan Danielson at All Out next month.
