During last nights episode, we went backstage to Gia standing with the Good Brothers – Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows. They talk about losing the tag titles last week, and are interrupted by Motor City Machine Guns, who propose a “first-time-ever” match next week, and challenge the Good Brothers to a match. It’s made official.
The Good Brothers most recent match was against OGK (Mike Bennett and Matt TAVEN) where they lost the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Titles.
The Motor City Machine Guns most recent match was at the AEW All Out PPV teaming with Jay Lethal to take on FTR (Dax Hardood and Cash Wheeler) and AEW TNT Champion, Wardlow.
The Machine Guns recently formed an alliance i IMPACT with Kushida and have deemed themselves “Time Machine”.
Backstage Scott D’Amore is speaking to Mia Yim. Kenny King interrupts and shews her away and bitches about the situation last week where won the X Division title from Mike Bailey and then had the match restarted. Scott says Bailey will defend his X Division title against Mascara Dorada next week, and then a Scott will make an announcement.
Mascara Dorada made his IMPACT Wrestling debut last week when he defeated Alex Zayne to get his X Division title shot.
Bailey’s most recent match was last week against Kenny King in an X Division title defense.
Could he be hinting at a rematch for Victory Road?
Gia interviews Maclin. Maclin talks the upcoming Barbed Wire Massacre match with himself, Moose and Sami Callihan at Victory Road. Maclin says there’s no alliance with Moose. Gia says next week Maclin and Moose will be teaming up to take on Decay.
Gail Kim approached Tasha and Savannah backstage last night with a request from Killer Kelly – wants Tasha on commentary during her match next week. At the time, it wasn’t revealed who the match would involve. Now we know it will be Killer Kelly taking on Alisha.
Killer Kelly has been undefeated since returning to IMPACT Wrestling and her latest match was defeating Savannah Evans.
IMPACT Wrestling just took to social media moments ago and announced on their Twitter account that Josh Alexander and Rich Swann would be taking on The Kingdom (Mike Bennett and Matt TAVEN) next week!
This should be a GREAT show next week.
