Stokely Hathaway Developing Heat In AEW For Getting Himself Over Rather Than The Talent He Represents In Promos

Stokely Hathaway is in the crosshairs of people within AEW.

Stokely debuted his new faction last night on AEW Dynamite, confirming their name and the mission statement of the faction. However, the momentum of the faction may be halted due to backstage heat on the man that brought them all together.

Wade Keller commented on his Pro Wrestling Post Show that Stokely is developing a rep for getting himself over rather than the wrestler’s he manages.

“[Stokely Hathaway] has a rep for his promos being about getting himself over, and not who he’s with”.

Stokely originally came in as the manager for Jade Cargill and The Baddies but was removed from the role without explanation. Time will tell how this rep will effect Stokely’s immediate career in AEW.
