Friday Night SmackDown featured a stacked card for this week’s edition of the blue brand. You can read the full results for the show below.
-The show kicked off with The Bloodline making their way to the ring. The match between Reigns and Logan Paul was promoted prior to the match. The promo itself was a standard Bloodline promo, with Heyman explaining that Solo had been sent by the Samoan elders. Solo would acknowledge Roman as his tribal chief and the faction began to make their exit. Sami however wanted the group to slow down as he had his own piece to say. This would lead to Roman telling Sami to take off The Bloodline shirt, with Jey Uso tearing it from his body. Roman would toss him a brand new shirt, celebrating Sami being made an official member of the faction. Sami and Roman would hug to close the segment.
-Liv Morgan defeated Lacey Evans via the ObLivion. Lacey spent the match telling Morgan she was not extreme. Morgan took a kendo stick after the match and went off on Evans, using the kendo stick to layout Evans with a russian leg sweep against the barricade. Morgan would then take out a table. She would then drive Lacey Evans with a seated senton from the ring post, sending a statement to Ronda Rousey.
-Backstage segment with Hit Row, Street Profits and Shinsuke Nakamura as they prepare to watch the tag title match and Braun Strowman vs Otis.
-Sami chastises a backstage assistant for a vegan meal and is confronted by Madcap Moss and Ricochet who poke fun at Zayn for kissing Roman Reigns’ ass. Solo Sikoa blasts the two babyfaces from behind for trashing The Bloodline, laying them out.
-The New Day defeat Maximum Male Models w/ Maxinne and Max Dupri. After the match, Max Dupri lost his cool and stormed away from ringside after chastising Maxinne and MMM.
-Another backstage segment in Hit Row’s lounge with Sonya Deville, Los Lotharios, Natalya, Drew Gulak and more showing up.
-Braun Strowman defeats Otis after a fun hoss fight between the pair.
-Brawling Brutes interview. Butch gets some time on the mic surprisingly. Sheamus promotes his match with Gunther in two weeks.
-Drew McIntyre out for a promo. Challenges Karrion Kross to a strap match. Scarlett interrupts with Kross attempting another sneak attack. After Drew gets the advantage, Scarlett jumps in front of Kross. Drew attempts to get closer but Scarlett shot a fireball in Drew’s face. McIntyre would still fire back but after a low blow from Scarlett, McIntyre succumbed and Kross choked McIntyre out cold.
-Raquel Rodriguez defeats Dakota Kai after Shotzi made her way to the ring to help Raquel against Damage Control.
-Back to Hit Row’s watchalong, Los Lotharios sneak attack the tag team and leave.
-Shotzi vs Bayley and Hit Row vs Los Lotharios made official for next week, Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn will also take on Ricochet and Madcap Moss on next week’s edition of SmackDown.
-The Uso’s retained the WWE Tag Titles vs The Brawling Brutes in an incredible match to end the show. Imperium attacked Sheamus at the end of the match.
