What a finish to a great match between champion and challenger.
During AEW Dynamite, Serena Deeb and Toni Storm went to war in a lumberjack match for the AEW Interim World Title. The stipulation for the match was added just beforehand by Saraya, who had cleared it with Tony Khan beforehand. The lumberjacks would end up getting physical with each other, with Jamie Hayter being chased from the arena by Willow Nightingale while Athena threatened to break Britt Baker’s eye socket.
The in ring action was strong however, with Serena Deeb initially kicking out of Storm Zero, Toni Storm’s finishing move. Next, Storm would take it up a notch, hitting her finisher from the top rope, spiking Deeb on her head.
