Update On Montez Ford Wearing A Walking Boot On Monday Night RAW And Other Backstage Notes From The Show
It looks like we will have to wait and see regarding the future of Montez Ford after he appeared on Monday Night RAW sporting a walking boot.
Monday Night RAW this week was a hectic affair with several changes to the show along with some out of the box thinking regarding some injuries. It is not known if Montez Ford is legitimately injured at this time, per Fightful Select. You can read the full notes from the report below.
- At one point, Judgment Day vs. AJ Styles & Rey Mysterio was discussed to Main event the show.
- Not that it’s a surprise, but Daniel Cormier’s video was a pre-tape.
- Originally, Asuka, Bianca Belair and Alexa Bliss were to accompany Candice LeRae to the ring.
- Dana Brooke filmed a match for Main Event against Fallon Henley, produced by Jason Jordan
- NXT team Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen took on Shelton Benjamin & R-Truth on Main Event, produced by Adam Pearce
- There was an interesting production mandate for the ladders used in the women’s segments on Raw. It was mandated that only 8 to 10 foot ladders be used or brought in for the match.
- We haven’t heard if Montez Ford’s injury is legitimate or not, but we can confirm that the walking boot was actually brought in by the prop department on Monday.
