Ronda Rousey will defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship next week on SmackDown.
During this week’s edition of SmackDown, Ronda Rousey was interviewed by Kayla Braxton, who for some reason assumed Rousey would defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship tonight in an open challenge. Ronda would work the interview noticeably heel. She would refute the idea of an open challenge, before mentioning she would hold one next week anyway.
Ronda reclaimed the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WWE Extreme Rules, where she would defeat Liv Morgan by submission at the event.
