Matt Hardy Believes That The Current WWE Tag Title Design Is A Step Backwards

Matt Hardy is not a fan of the current WWE Tag Team Championship design.

The current designs of the WWE tag team championships have been around since the most recent WWE brand split with the same design with different colored straps.

During the recent Q&A podcast on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Matt would discuss the current WWE Tag Team Championship design, commenting that he believes they are a step backwards.

“The blue and red World Tag Team Championship, I thought that was a step back from the other titles, you know, especially the ones that preceded them, the tag titles before them look really, really nice. I think it was a step backward,”

Hardy would hold both the RAW and SmackDown tag team championships in WWE during his latest run with the promotion, holding the titles with Bray Wyatt and his brother Jeff respectively.
