Wardlow Admits He Wasn’t A Fan Of MJF Whipping Segment At First, Credits Fans With Getting Him Through It

Wardlow discusses the whipping segment involving MJF.

In the build up to AEW Double Or Nothing, one of the trials that Wardlow had to go through in the leadup was ten lashes from MJF. Wardlow would no sell the lashes, with a smug smile on his face that popped a lot of fans.

Wardlow recently spoke to Fightful Select and he would discuss this segment, admitting he wasn’t a major fan of the segment at first.

He admitted that he wasn’t exactly going into the MJF whipping segment positively, but the crowd was something that helped get him through it. He said the smile on his face was genuine because the adrenaline got him through it, too.

The segment would of course end badly for Wardlow, with MJF and Shawn Spears laying out the handcuffed star. Now, Wardlow holds the TNT Championship after defeating MJF at AEW Double Or Nothing.
