WWE Crown Jewel 2022 Results – 11/5/22

WWE Crown Jewel is upon us and takes place from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

 Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns (c) (w/ Paul Heyman) vs. Logan Paul (w/ Jake Paul).

– The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, & Dominik Mysterio) vs. The O.C. (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson).

– Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley.

– Steel Cage Match: Karrion Kross vs. Drew McIntyre.

– Braun Strowman vs. Omos.

– WWE Raw Women’s Championship Match – Last Woman Standing: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley.

– Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship Match: The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) (c) vs. Brawling Brutes (Ridge Holland & Butch).

– WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Alexa Bliss & Asuka (c) vs. Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky).

– Bray Wyatt Addresses His Demons in Saudi Arabia.

Kick things off with Bobby Lashley vs Brock Lesnar. Promo for the match plays in between entrances.

Bobby attacks Lesnar during his entrance. Lashley pushes Lesnar into the steel ring steps and goes on to hit 4 spears, one through the barricade. Lesnar kicks out and begins to fight back with German Suplexes. Lesnar hits an F5, tries for another but can’t lift Lashley with the leg. Match dissolves into the pair trading power moves. Hurt Lock applied by Lashley. Lesnar runs up the turnbuckles and pushes back. The two fall into a pinfall position and Lesnar gets the win.

Lashley puts the Hurt Lock back in on Lesnar after the match.

Women’s Tag Titles Match: Asuka and Alexa Bliss vs Damage CTRL

Prior to the match the champions are interviewed and Bray Wyatt’s logo pops up on a TV as Bliss begins to speak. Match is a high paced affair. Damage CTRL heavily work Asuka’s leg, which hampers her throughout the match. Massive tower of doom spot takes out the entire ring. Match continues to go back and forth. Bliss goes to the top rope for the Twisted Bliss but Nikki Cross attacks Bliss, leading to Dakota Kai getting the win.

Up next, Drew McIntyre vs Karrion Kross in a steel cage match.

Match is as expected, a physical affair. Crowd is fired up for Drew McIntyre. Back and forth trading moves. Very few cage spots. Scarlett distracts McIntyre as he sets up the Claymore. Kross tries to escape after he lays out Drew. Drew comes too and chases Kross, superplexing him from the top of the cage. McIntyre asks for the cage door to open but Scarlett pepper sprays him. The pair continue to exchange. Drew tries to leave through the cage door but Scarlett locks it. McIntyre goes up and over instead while Kross tries to go through the door. McIntyre drops to the floor and wins.

Roman Reigns arrives. Byron Saxton asks him about Logan Paul mentioning all it takes is one lucky punch. Roman ignores him.

Judgement Day vs The OC

Quick tags early on with several different matchups. Each team getting in some good offense. Rhea at ringside very vocal. The Judgement Day take over. Anderson is worked over by Judgement Day for quite some time. Gallows tags in and takes it to Dominik and Priest. The OC look for the Magic Killer but Priest stops it. AJ gets about 2 minutes of offense where he lands several big news. Double Electric Drop, Superplex spot. Crowd heavily into the match. As AJ sets up the Phenomenal Forearm, Rhea stops him which leads to a Coup De Grace, with Balor pinning Styles for the win.

The Judgement Day defeat The OC

Up next, Braun Strowman vs Omos.

No MVP due to Braun laying him out on SmackDown on Friday Night. Omos dominates the early stages. Omos slams Braun. Braun turns it around eventually but Omos stops him. Omos continues to dominate until Braun hits the Running Powerslam for the win.

Next, The Usos vs The Brawling Brutes

Early on The Usos attempt to walk out on the match. Michael Cole says Jey Uso has a broken wrist. Back and forth match. Not much to talk about in this match as it was a traditional defense from The Uso’s.

Up next, Bianca Belair vs Bayley for The RAW Women’s Championship in a Last Woman Standing Match.

Match is heavy on using weapons early. Bayley tries to trap Bianca Belair under steel steps and a ladder but Belair up at 8. They head up the ramp where they both get knocked down but both up at 8. Bayley brings out a golf cart with the two brawling on it. Bianca drives it down to ringside. Table spot with a powerbomb from Belair. Bianca Belair misses a 450 onto a pile of steel chairs. Eventually Bianca Belair traps Bayley in a ladder in the corner. Bayley cannot escape and Belair gets the win.

Bray Wyatt out for his promo segment. Bray opens up about his family. About giving in. About wearing a mask with pride. Bray says he is here to rewrite the ending to his own story. Uncle Howdy interrupts from the tron. Tells Wyatt to give in and put the mask back on and if he is worried about the aftermath, he should just not take the mask off.

Main Event time as Roman Reigns takes on Logan Paul.

Logan has his own special entrance. Reigns out to a big pop. Early stages of the match is all Reigns but Paul occasionally gets flurries. The one lucky punch is teased. Logan begins to gain momentum, hitting a blockbuster. Logan Paul hits a huge crossbody on Reigns and then a standing moonsault for a 2 count. Logan goes for Sweet Chin Music, Roman hits a Uranage. Roman goes for a superman punch but Logan slips it and hits one of his own. Roman kicks out. More back and forth. Logan puts Roman through a table with a frog splash while recording. Jake Paul comes out and takes out The Usos. Logan hits another frog splash but Reigns kicks out. Solo comes out and officials get between Solo and Jake. Logan flies and takes out both Usos. He comes back into the ring and eats a superman punch and a spear with Reigns getting the pinfall win.
