The wrestling world is buzzing following Nick Aldis deciding to leave the NWA and former rival has some thoughts.
It’s no secret by now that Nick Aldis, former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion and the company themselves are not on the best of terms following Nick giving a notice to the company, only to be suspended shortly after. But, another former NWA champion has something to say. Matt Cardona, who is also a former champion, was set to fight Nick Aldis at NWA Alwayz Ready before having to pull out due to injury. Now, Cardona appeared on This Is Pro Wrestling, commenting on Aldis leaving the company.
That’s unfortunate. Nick and I, we have some unfinished business, we were supposed to wrestle at Alwayz Ready, but obviously, I got injured. I feel he’s a great opponent of mine. I don’t think he liked when I came to NWA because it was his baby and he did such a great job representing the NWA, being the face of NWA, he’s got all the tools and I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors

Matt Cardona will finally challenge for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship again at NWA Hard Times 3 in a triple threat match against Trevor Murdoch and Tyrus.
