AEW Dynamite Results – 11/16/22 – Stacked Go Home Show For Full Gear

Tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite is set to be an eventful one. It will serve as the last Dynamite before AEW Full Gear, with many segments and matches with implications for the PPV.

• Claudio Castagnoli & Bryan Danielson vs. Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara
• Anthony Bowens vs. Swerve Strickland
• The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) release their new music video
• Jon Moxley speaks
• MJF speaks
• Samoa Joe speaks
• Britt Baker and Saraya speak

We kick things off with Sammy Guevara and Chris Jericho vs Claudio Castagnoli and Bryan Danielson.

Match is high intensity early as the bell rings with Claudio going for Jericho and Guevara going after Danielson. Big power spots from Claudio. Danielson eye is being worked by JAS. Jericho hits Danielson with Floyd with the refs back turned as we go to commercial. Back from commercial with Guevara and Jericho in control of Danielson. Match really heats up with some great sequences between the two teams. Guevara escapes the labell lock. Sammy with the cutter to Danielson off the top rope. Lionsault from Jericho, Claudio breaks up the pin after. Claudio ends up swinging Jericho while Jericho holds Floyd, he locks in a sharpshooter after and Jericho taps.

Blackpool Combat Club defeats JAS

Daby Allin and Sting promo followed by a promo from Jarrett, Jay Lethal, Sonjay and Satnam.

Anthony Bowens vs Swerve Strickland up next. The premiere of The Acclaimed’s Music Video happens before the match.

Gunn and Caster are ejected. Bowens and Strickland begin with striking exchanges. Swerve drops Bowens over the barricade into commercial. Swerve still in control after commercial. Bowens begins pushing back against Strickland. But Strickland ends up getting the win.

Nyla Rose, Jade Cargill promo.

Joe promo out with Tony Schiavone where Joe implies he might attack Tony early. Very heated promo from Joe against fans and Tony. Powerhouse Hobbs interrupts. Wardlow comes out next and it all goes to hell as the three brawl and are seperated by security and some of the AEW Roster. WARDLOW TAKES OUT EVERYONE!

Britt Baker promo where she goes off on Saraya. Baker breaks down Saraya’s promos last week. She says she is the pulse of AEW.

Trios titles time as Death Triangle take on Top Flight and AR Fenix.

Incredible back and forth early as the agility is obvious from all men involved. The challengers are getting an incredible showcase and the match is as crazy as expected. Death Triangle retain after a fun match.

PAC gets on the mic after the match. He calls out The Elite for a match at Full Gear. The match is made official for the trios titles at AEW Full Gear.

Hayter out for a stand off with Storm.

Mox out for a promo. The Firm attack him and Regal but MJF makes a save and cuts an incredible promo to end the show.
