At the NXT Deadline Premium Live Event, Pretty Deadly put up their NXT Tag Team Championships against The New Day. The two teams gave it their all in a solid tag team encounter. However, it was The New Day who reigned supreme and won the titles.
Following their loss, fans believed Pretty Deadly were going to be called up to the main roster. According to Mike Johnson in a PWInsider Q&A, there were rumblings after the tag team lost the titles. It was added that would be getting a look at house shows in January for a possible main roster call up.
There were rumblings right after Pretty Deadly lost the WWE NXT Tag Team titles that they could be getting a look and working some house shows in January, but beyond that, nothing that I am aware of.
