Shawn Michaels Apologizes To Fans For Traumatizing Them With Two Incidents

Shawn Michaels’ apologizes to fans for traumatizing them when he turned on Marty Jannetty.

Shawn recently appeared on 99.9 The Fan’s “Culture State,” where he made the decision to apologize for what happened on those two occasions. He continued to admit that he ‘traumatized’ an entire generation of wrestling fans.

“I gotta tell ya — it’s something where I’ve had to make peace with the fact that there have been a couple of things that I’ve done, two big ones, in my career where I actually traumatized a generation. That’s The Barber Shop and Montreal. To everyone, once again, all these years later, I say, I am so sorry. I swear it’s in my job description.”

The Barber Shop to which Michaels is referring took place in early 1992 and in a Wrestling Challenge episode, Marty Jannetty and Micheals, then known as The Rockers, made an appearance on Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake’s talk show The Barber Shop. At that time, Michaels switched sides and attacked Jannetty with Sweet Chin Music before slamming him out the glass window of the stage.
