The New Years Smash edition of AEW Rampage is being taped following tonight’s AEW Dynamite. The show will feature Orange Cassidy defending his AEW All-Atlantic Championship against his Best Friends partner, Trent and it kicks off the show. If you wish to not see spoilers, do not read any further.
AEW Rampage 12/30:
- All-Atlantic Championship: Orange Cassidy defeats Trent.: Orange Cassidy beat Trent after a distraction from Penelope Ford. He won with the Superman Punch then Trent left frustrated.
- Kip Sabian defeated local.: Quick squash match.
- Jon Moxley cut a promo where he accepted Hangman Adam Page’s challenge to a match on January 11th in LA. Mox told Page ”Keep your hands up, Bitch.”
- TBS Championship: Jade Cargill defeated Keira Hogan: Jade and Keira had a tough battle, both women brawled back and forth in the ring and on the outside. In the end, Keira got hit with the Jaded for the 1,2,3.
- Swerve Strickland defeated Wheeler YUTA: Swerve and Yuta main evented the show with a fun back and forth match. In the end, Swerve got knocked into the referee, causing the ref to go down. Swerve then took advantage of this and low-blowed YUTA before hitting him with the JML driver for the win.
