Will Ospreay Declares Triple H Is “Such A Gangster”
Triple H is far more open to the idea of his talent doing special matches outside WWE, especially if it goes down in Japan. Only time will tell what Triple H approves next, but he gave the green light to Shinsuke Nakamura’s match against the Great Muta after Vince McMahon said no.
While speaking to Fightful, Will Ospreay opened up a bit about Triple H’s policy about letting WWE Superstars work special matches outside the company. Ospreay called Triple H a “G” and really appreciates this mindset.
“I’m shocked at it, but in the same sense, now that Triple H is running the ship, it’s got to be said, I think Triple H is a G. I think he’s such a gangster. I’ve always liked him. He’s a cool dude. He clearly watches what goes on outside of his bubble, which is amazing, the fact that he’s allowed Karl to have this dual deal is cool. It does make me wonder what doors could be open. I always want to know who is the best out of their crop. I always like testing myself and it would be very interesting if there was a way of making that door open. You never know.”

Wrestle Kingdom 17 is set to be a real “forbidden door” event. Not only will WWE talent participate, but ROH and AEW talent will be there as well. The fact that a WWE Superstar like Karl Anderson is appearing on that show would not be a reality if Vince McMahon was still calling the shots in WWE.
