It looks like the Hall Of Fame couple will appear at the 2023 Royal Rumble.
According to a new report from PW Insider, Edge is “penciled in” to make his return to the company at the Royal Rumble event. It was not noted exactly how the Rated R Superstar will be used.
Edge was last seen at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view in October, where he lost to Finn Balor in an I Quit Match. Now that WWE is hitting the road to WrestleMania again, Edge’s return could put him in line for a big match at the show of shows. It was reported that Beth Phoenix is “also slated for the Rumble.” Her return to WWE could really shake up the division, if the company can keep her around. Either way, she could certainly help Edge combat the Judgment Day and their Rhea Ripley problem.
Edge and Beth Phoenix’s returns are only the start. It was also noted that Doudrop is slated to be at the event.
