Eric Bischoff Didn’t Like How Stephanie McMahon Left WWE
Stephanie McMahon resigned from WWE in rapid fashion after her father returned to WWE’s Board of Directors. Her exit put Mr. McMahon back in the Chairman of the Board seat, and Nick Khan was appointed as the company’s only CEO.
Eric Bischoff saw this business move, and he wasn’t a big fan of it. Easy E commented on the Strictly Business podcast that he felt “sincerely disappointed” by this decision. He went on to explain how this abrupt change of pace did not reflect the outside narrative they were trying to represent.
“At a time when it’s extremely critical to at least create the outward impression that it’s business as usual and this high-powered team is going to continue doing what it’s been doing, 24 hours later, she resigns, which is the exact opposite of that.”

Stephanie McMahon’s WWE exit was different this time around, because she did not take a leave. Instead, this was a full break from the company that she has worked for, practically full-time, since she graduated from Boston University with a degree in Communications.
