Tony Khan Will Not Comment On If CM Punk Has Been Removed From AEW Fight Forever
CM Punk has pretty much been a taboo subject in AEW since All Out and someone who is rarely mentioned, even indirectly. In fact, he was even removed from the upcoming AEW: Fight Forever video game cover.
While speaking with DAZN, AEW President Tony Khan seemed to confirm Punk’s status on the cover of the game, while not directly answering Punk’s status in the company in general.
“I’m sorry, I can’t comment on that. I appreciate you asking about the video game. I’m very excited about it. It’s a huge project for AEW, and we’re very excited. The release is coming, it’s imminent, and when it will be released, I really think fans around the world are going to have a great experience. And hopefully, it’ll make some new wrestling fans and some new AEW fans, which would be great for everybody who works here. That’s something we’re excited about.
I can’t comment on that, but I appreciate you asking about it.”

Only time will tell whether CM Punk will be making his return to AEW television, as it seems unlikely right now.
