Winnipeg (You Idiot!) Debut of AEW Rescheduled
This is one of those good news/bad news stories. The good news is, AEW is making its Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada debut. The bad news is, it’s not happening as quickly as once thought.
That’s according to a Tweet from AEW’s official Twitter page, which stated that due to a revised network television broadcast schedule, the AEW Dynamite/Rampage double header will not be taking place on Tuesday, March 14 as originally believed. Instead, it will happen a day later, in AEW’s usual day and timeslot.
AEW stated that fans who have purchased tickets to the event on Tuesday will be able to use them on Wednesday. If fans are unable to attend the Wednesday show, they have until February 5 to request a refund.
Of course, talks of these network delays bring back memories of the g*ddamn Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, or the NBA Playoffs – both of which were the bane of many a wrestling fan’s existence during the Monday Night Wars. Luckily, it looks as though AEW Dynamite will get to air as planned, and all is right with the world.
Tune in March 15 as AEW Dynamite debuts in Winnipeg which, if you’re an idiot and didn’t know, is where Chris Jericho is from.
