Charlotte Flair Feels Bad For Snatching Championship Away From Referee On SmackDown
Right after her first match as SmackDown Women’s champion against Sonya Deville on the January 5th edition of SmackDown, Charlotte Flair snatched her title away from WWE official Jessika Carr. Flair, now performing as a babyface, was not supposed to disrespect referees, something she used to do as a heel. She spoke about this moment during an interview with The New York Post.
“I just get in a mode and I was like, ‘Ah, wait, why did I do that?’ I almost hugged her too. What made it worse was that was a woman who I was like being disrespectful to.”

Charlotte Flair immediately realized her mistake and corrected it by saying “thank you” to Jessika Carr within seconds of snatching the title. Flair won her match against Sonya Deville and it looks like the issues between the two superstars are far from over.
