Hardy’s performance went down right after the Women’s Royal Rumble match, and right before the main event of Kevin Owens vs Roman Reigns. Fans were tired and didn’t respond much to the musical interlude.
According to a report from Fightful Select, Hardy’s performance was “scoffed at” by those in the company. It wasn’t a big hit internally, just like it wasn’t with fans.

WWE did not put the Hardy performance on their official YouTube page. It remains to be seen how Hardy benefited from the mini-concert, but it certainly wasn’t seen in the best light backstage.
