Jim Ross Has Spoke To Jerry Lawler, Says The Prognosis Is Positive After Health Scare

Jerry Lawler suffered a stroke at his home in Fort Myers, Florida, and he was taken to a hospital for surgery. He is currently recovering, and the latest report was that his speech is still affected. He has regained feeling on the right side of his body, which is a good sign.

Jim Ross tweeted out to say that he spoke with Jerry Lawler. Their conversation was apparently a brief one, but he provided an update on the WWE Hall of Famer’s condition.

I spoke very briefly with ⁦@JerryLawler⁩ tonight.
He’s obviously weak but I could understand his affected speech.

We are sending out our best to Jerry Lawler during this difficult time. Hopefully, he will recover very soon and speedily. There are certainly a ton of people pulling for him to get through this unfortunate incident.
