Sean Sapp has now reported that WWE broke another record last night. It was said that this week’s SmackDown at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut was the highest-grossing event that WWE has ever held in that market.
This is a pretty big deal, because WWE has held a ton of high-profile events in Connecticut in the past. After all, the company’s HQ is located in Stamford. Only time will tell what records WWE breaks in the future, but it’s likely that they will continue doing big numbers as their momentum builds on the road to WrestleMania.
