Matt Riddle’s Wife Reveals When He Will Report To Orlando & Details Leading Up To Contract Signing

As we saw on tonight’s NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV, Matt Riddle appeared in the crowd officially marking his arrival in the company.

Matt Riddle’s wife, Lisa Riddle uploaded a video to YouTube earlier today following her husbands debut on NXT. In her video she wanted to let fans know what was going on and how everything went down leading up to Matt’s signing and debut earlier tonight.

Lisa revealed that back in the second week of June that Matt received and email from New Japan Pro Wrestling> Then Matt received a phone call from Triple H. She said the call lasted for about 30 minutes, it was then that Triple H offered Riddle a contract.

She said they were excited, and that the contract arrived in mid-July. She added that during those three weeks between the call and the contract being sent that they did not know what to expect. Matt filled out the paperwork and signed the contract, and completed his physical before July 20th. She pointed out that he was paranoid about his blood-work, and that he passed his physical.

Matt Riddle will report to Orlando and the WWE Performance Center on September 4th.
