As of late, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion has joined forces with her close friend Shayna Baszler on the blue brand, sparking speculation amongst fans about their intentions to pursue the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
Shayna Baszler trained Ronda Rousey when she first started in WWE. The Queen of Spades ditched Natalya to form an alliance with The Baddest Woman on the Planet and it continues even now. Rousey took to Twitter and fired shots at Natalya and the women’s tag team division. She even drew a comparison between The Usos and Damage CTRL.
Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey are expected to go after the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at the upcoming WrestleMania 39 premium live event, with their challenge being considered “locked in”. It will remain to be seen who the champions will be at that point in time.
