Ric Flair Condemns MJF For Throwing Drink On Child

Ric Flair made a lot of money gaining heats from fans. He would go into a territory and leave it changed, but he didn’t throw booze on children. After watching MJF’s controversial heel tactic at AEW Revolution, the Nature Boy was not pleased.

During a recent episode of his To Be The Man podcast, Ric Flair was asked whether he thought MJF went too far. Flair thinks that the move was cheap heat, and he did not give his stamp of approval at all.

“Yeah. It’s cheap heat. You want to do something to get heat and get the people excited, that won’t hurt anybody, you cut yourself so deep that when you swing your hair, you throw blood all over them. That’s what I did all the time when I had long hair. Then they’d feel like they’re part of the action. They’re going, ‘Shit, this ain’t paint. This is blood’ [laughs]. I’m totally against throwing anything at a kid. You never know, if it had ice in it and that. The liability there? I’m sure Tony did a a cartwheel at Gorilla [position].”

Only time will tell who comes out to speak against MJF’s choice, but it’s hard to stand behind that kind of move.
