Sarray’s WWE Exit Linked To WWE Firing Her Supporters
It was reported last night that Sarray is leaving NXT. She will return to Japan after a lackluster run in WWE’s NXT brand. There is a reason for her diminished push, because WWE fired a ton of people who were behind her.
According to a report from Fightful Select, Sarray’s time in WWE first started going downhill in 2022 when WWE released all of that staff from the Performance Center.
Fightful Select was able to confirm the report, including that Sarray has bookings elsewhere. However, WWE has yet to comment to our numerous inquiries about her in an official capacity. Since word emerged that she’d be leaving WWE imminently. We’ve learned more.
We’re told the beginning of the end was actually early in 2022, when many of her biggest supporters were let go from NXT. Sources within the brand said that she never factored into a consistent or major creative fashion after that. We’re told by the spring of 2022, that the writing was on the wall. William Regal’s departure was one that many pointed to as a turning point.
Those who frequent the Performance Center said that she hadn’t been around in “ages,” and weren’t given any answers when they’d ask about her. It was widely accepted within the company that the creative given to her was outright bad.

Sarray entered WWE with a ton of hype behind her, but things just didn’t develop the way anyone expected. They tried her out with a couple of gimmicks, but it appears that she will take her talents back to Japan now. At 26-years-old, Sarray still has plenty of time to accomplish a lot in the pro wrestling world.
