Correction On John Cena’s Acting Schedule Heading Into WrestleMania
John Cena can no longer make as many WWE appearances as he used to due to his demanding Hollywood schedule. The road to WrestleMania is therefore always a momentous occasion and fortunately, Cena was able to reserve a few weeks.
The fact that John Cena’s production schedule coincided with his return to the United States is one of the reasons he will be available for Wrestlemania 39 this year. Cena recently wrapped up shooting for the comedy film, Ricky Stanicky in Canada with Zac Efron.
According to PWInsider, before coming to RAW on March 6th in the evening, the 16-time World Champion quickly boarded a plane for the United States and was on location filming for the Alli Wong movie Grand Death Lotto. So, while attending to his Wrestlemania duties, John Cena is also filming the movie and will continue to do so in the next coming weeks as well.
As mentioned, John Cena will battle ‘The Now’ Austin Theory at WrestleMania. This will be Cena’s first WrestleMania match in three years, after lasting competing at WrestleMania 36 against Bray Wyatt.
