A trilogy matchup may be on the way on the independent wrestling circuit.
Vinny Pacifico and Matt Sydal are no strangers to one another and have crossed paths a couple of times on the independent circuit. Back in September Pacifico would get one of the biggest victories of his career when he managed to defeat the AEW regular at a Vacationland Pro event. Next, the pair would square off again in October, with Sydal evening the score at a Pro Wrestling Magic event.
After their second match, Sydal had called for a trilogy match with Pacifico, asking for it to be a 2 out of 3 falls match. At this time, there has not been any confirmation on when or where this match will take place.
Sydal challenged Vinny saying:
“I will bring the magic to Vinny Pacifico in a 2/3 falls match, and the falls will count anywhere, anytime any place. Send this to Vinny Pacifico and let him know he’s going to have to bring 8,000 energy drinks, hook them up and hook them to his veins because I will break him down and wear him out and open his 3rd eye”

When asked for comment on the matter, Pacifico would respond to the callout. Vinny told us at Bodyslam:
“It’s my time to prove I’m one of the best in the game today, and what better way to prove it than beating one of the best in the business, Matt Sydal.”

Pacifico is riding high after securing a major energy drink sponsorship while Sydal continues to work with younger talent as he continues his journey across the world wide wrestling circuit. We will have to see when these two will complete this trilogy.
