Auschwitz Memorial Calls WWE’s “Shameless” For Footage Usage In WrestleMania Promo

During the WrestleMania kick off show, a promo aired for the father vs son match between Rey and Dominik Mysterio. The package would focus on Dom’s new prison gimmick but fans noticed that footage used in the promo was of the Auschwitz concentration camp.

Taking to social media, Auschwitz Memorial Museum called out WWE for using the image, saying they didn’t believe it was an editing mistake.

The fact that Auschwitz image was used to promote a WWE match is hard to call "an editing mistake". WWE has yet to comment on the incident but would fix the promo before it aired on the main show.
