Minoru Suzuki has his eye on a legendary battle with Chris Jericho.
Suzuki is synonymous with Japanese strong style, brutalizing his opponents with a serious of throws and brutal strikes. One name that would be an incredible match for Suzuki would be Chris Jericho. Both stars are closing in on retirement, and Suzuki wants the match sometime soon.
Suzuki told Wrestling With Honor that he wants a match with Y2J when asked if there was an opponent he would like to face.
“I think there are still many more. But I hope in the near future I can fight Chris Jericho,”
“Of course, I’m still aiming for IWGP. That is one of the reasons why I continue to fight in New Japan Pro-Wrestling,”

While the match with Jericho is a dream match, the possibility of Suzuki squaring off with IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada will certainly excite NJPW fans just as much, if not more. We will have to see if Suzuki will get either of his matches.
