Randy Orton’s back injury could keep him out of action until 2024.
Last May, Randy Orton stepped away from WWE due to an injury to his back. He would later have surgery for the injury, but has not been seen in WWE since. He was in Los Angeles for WrestleMania, but did not make an appearance at the show.
In an update on Randy Orton’s recovery time and return, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that Orton’s back injury is not yet healed to the point where he can be medically cleared for an in-ring return. WWE would then send out an official statement on Orton’s injury, putting an end to speculation of an imminent return for Randy Orton by letting fans know he may not return in 2023.
We will have to see when Orton will return to the ring, but for now he will remain on the shelf.
