It looks like the King Of The Ring tournament has been put on hold for the time being.
Fans were excited to see the tournament return, with the Queen and King Of The Ring tournaments scheduled to take place at a Saudi event at the end of May. However, with that event now being known as Night Of Champions, WWE have pushed back the tournaments for the time being.
PWInsider Elite stated that it is “less likely” the King of the Ring tournament will feature soon, given the recent creative changes. WWE is obviously going through a lot of changes right now, and this transition is notable.
We will have to wait and see when WWE decide to host the tournament but for the time being, the creative plans relating to the tournament have been put on hold.
