Since Nick Aldis returned to IMPACT Wrestling this past Sunday night at Rebellion, speculation has been running rampant about Nick Aldis and if he has signed a contract with IMPACT Wrestling.
Mike Johnson reveals on PWInsiderElite: that Nick Aldis has not (yet) officially signed with Impact Wrestling, but the two sides have come to what was basicall described to us as a short-term verbal agreement. He’s going to be in the top of the mix for the promotion over at least the next several months as they are building to Aldis vs. Steve Maclin. I would wager that’s the Slammiversary PPV main event, but no one has told me that officially. It just doesn’t make sense to rush right to it and Slammiversary is the next “cornerstone” PPV event.
Most IMPACT fans are excited to see Nick back in the promotion, and as he also revealed last night on the IMPACTonAXSTV episode, he’s got his sights set on the World Title.
