Thunder Rosa may be out of action much longer than expected, as she is still not cleared to compete.
In the lead up to AEW Forbidden Door, it would be revealed that Thunder Rosa was not cleared to compete and as such, would eventually have to relinquish the AEW Women’s championship, making Jamie Hayter the world champion.
Rosa has been on the shelf for quite some time now, and Fightful Select have provided an update on Thunder’s injury recovery.
Thunder Rosa is still not cleared and there is concern that she may require surgery to repair her back.

If Rosa were to need surgery, it is likely that she will remain out of the ring for a long time following. Elsewhere on the roster, Matt Jackson is looking to avoid surgery on his torn bicep.
